Unveiled at briefings hosted by the House Medical Technology Caucus, “Patient Capital 3.0” details the pivotal role that venture capital and venture-backed startups play in the development of medical innovation – and the improved health outcomes, cost savings, job creation and economic growth that result from it. The report also examines the challenges now facing America’s medical innovation ecosystem and the role that public policy can play in moving this ecosystem from a crisis footing to one of renewed promise – for physicians, patients, entrepreneurs and investors.
